I Can't Help How I Was Born

Yeah.....lets see....what can I say about this?.....

This is based on the novel I'm writing called Transcending Wings (if you have not read the crappy crappy crappy rough draft I wrote nearly 2 years ago, check (or not, I prefer the not) the fiction link at the top of my journal or go to

and check it out...you can read like...3 chapters....yeah...it sucks, cuz I wrote it 2 years ago. I seriously need to work on writing it over again, considering chapter 1 is due on the 7th in my Novel writing class.

Anyways, let me explain what is going on here. Hunter, bastard son of the king, is getting whipped by one of the priests for the death of his brother, Articus, which was not his fault. The priests are calling him a "demon", something based off the old prophecy of the kingdom which says that the demon of the Vulpen clan (Hunter's clan) will destroy the empire. After Articus's death, the priests try to "exercise" the demons from him, even though there are no demons. Which comes to this picture. Poor poor Hunter is taking the beatings, because after all this talk of demons, he's convinced himself that it is his fault that his brother is dead and the kingdom is crumbling and doused in war.

My friend pointed out to me that if he were getting whipped, his head should be forced back more, and his back arched inward....I don't know if I should re-draw it or not....everyone I asked says it looks like he's getting raped up the ass....so I had to draw the pants in (sigh)

I dunno, what do you peoples think?

Is it just me...or does his head look wierd? I am probably going to re-draw this....
